Define the product purchase
A defensible polymer tender separates qualification from price ranking. Different bidders must demonstrate a comparable treatment result on the relevant stream and equipment. A supplier catalogue, a viscosity maximum or a photograph of floc cannot alone establish technical compliance.
Identify the stream, separator and unresolved limitation before selecting a trial grade. Preserve the proposed commercial code so laboratory work and purchasing refer to the same material.
Publish the real operating duty
Specify stream origin, solids range, upstream chemistry, preparation hardware and separator. Include difficult operating states and the actual output targets. Explain what plant access and sampling will be available to each bidder.

Define a repeatable qualification sequence

Score accepted treatment and supply
After mandatory safety and site-approval gates, compare dose, capture, cake or float handling, capacity and the specified supply terms. State how uncertainty and incomplete trials will be handled before opening price rankings.
No universal product certification or performance guarantee should be invented for the tender. Identify applicable approval requirements for the exact destination and intended use.
Resolve a conflicting result
If one proposal excludes sludge handling while another includes cake and recycle acceptance, their low chemical prices are not yet comparable. Resolve the technical scope before applying commercial weights.
Retain the reference condition and repeat the comparison where sampling or instrument variability obscures the difference. Report what remains untested rather than extending one favorable response to the entire plant.
